High School News

GHS will be offering a credit recovery summer school program.  Courses will be offered in a blended learning environment with mandatory sessions at the high school to meet with their teacher.  Students will be required to work from home as well.

Students must commit to attending the mandatory sessions AND working online from home in order to be successful in the program.  Overall summer school dates will be Tuesday June 3 - Thursday July 10.

The cost of summer school is $120 per course, with students limited to one course unless they are a rising or graduating senior.  A down payment of $25 is due at the time of enrollment.

Prom will take place on Saturday, May 17 at La Pizzaria Restaurant & Event Center.  Doors open at 6:30, with dinner served at 7:00, and dancing from 8 - 11PM.  Tickets will go on sale April 17, and cost $65 and can be purchased via this link..  Late ticket sales will be from May 12-17 and will cost $85.  No tickets will be sold at the door.

Ohio State Testing will take place at GHS as follows:

• April 21-22: ELA 10 Parts 1 and 2
• April 30 & May 1: Algebra 1 and Geometry
• May 2: Social Studies Part 1 and 2 (American History and Government

• May 14 - 15: Senior Exams
• May 17: Prom Night/After-Prom
• May 20: Graduation at GHS Memorial Stadium (May 21 & 22 are rain dates)
