GHS PBIS
At Green High School we believe all students have the ability to be safe, kind and responsible and should follow these three expectations. These universal expectations have been set district wide, as we expect all students to be "Bulldog Strong."
Positive behavior is acknowledged, rewarded, and celebrated daily. In fact, when students follow the expectations, they are awarded points in the PBIS Rewards Program for being safe, kind, and/or responsible. Students can save up their points to purchase a reward from the school or classroom store. Rewards are delivered within 24 hours to students during the school day.
We encourage you to have daily conversations with your children about the expectations that are in place in their individual classrooms and in our school.
Ohio’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Recognition System provides an opportunity to celebrate schools and districts. Each year, the Ohio Department of Education and the PBIS Network recognize schools and districts for their quality and fidelity of PBIS implementation. Green HIgh School received a Bronze Award in 2023. Green Local Schools is proud to be 1 of 3 districts in Summit County with a perfect score during this application process.
